Pueblo Chili & Salsa Showdown Commercial Winners

The Chile Festival in Pueblo is in full swing, and today commercial competitions were held for best chili and salsa. The winners were announced Saturday (09/26/15).

The commercial Chile & Salsa Showdown Sponsored by Black Hills Energy was held at the Pueblo Convention Center Saturday morning (09/26/15).

Approximately 10 entries competed in each category from local restaurants.

First place winners of each category for the commercial competition receive $500 along with bragging rights.

The non-commercial will take place on Sunday.

Entries will be awarded prizes for the top three places; first place will receive $100, second place will receive $50 and third place will receive $25.

The three categories that will be judged are red chili, green chili and salsa.
