away. you share your opinion… good evening, and thanks for joing us .. i’m heather skold. james has the night off. first tonight, that case of animal abuse, caught on camera. it happened at an apartment complex in the one hundred block of south academy road on the city’s east side. a viewer posted this video on our facebook page that’s getting a lot of attention. it appears a man throws his dog across the yard. the woman who took the video talked to krdo newschannel 13’s greg miller. he’s live tonight at the humane society – greg the dog is staying there at least through the weekend. levi the dog is staying here. the human society says x- rays show the dog is fine. the man in the video faces a misdemeanor – thanks to a woman who caught it on her cell phone, on her way to work. i saw this dog floating through the air the woman who took the video doesn’t want to be identified – she’s worried about her safety, and others finding she turned him in. woman: pretty disturbing, i did a double take. she drove to work this morning when she saw this – a man tossing a dog across the yard of an apartment complex. she says she saw even worse than what she caught on her cell phone. sot: he kicked the puppy, threw it several times, smacked it in the face alot of cruelty stuff. so she turned the video in and that man now is charged with a misdemeanor of animal cruelty. that post went viral quickly and caught the attention of a lot of people, especially dog lovers, who say it just isn’t fair. sot: it’s horrifying, it’s really sickening, some people just shouldn’t have dogs. hanna cook was packing her three after a night at the park, when she saw the video and as a dog lover, she wants to see a stronger charge i think it should be more than a misdemeanor, definitely. grateful this was caught… no animal deserves to be abused, hopefully now c? abused, hopefully now g? he’ll get a home he deserves… before it was too late. the humane
