Guilty plea for man accused of killing Pueblo Teen
The man accused of killing a Pueblo teen pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and sexual exploitation of a child.
Christopher Waide is suspected of murdering Lea Porter in Westminster in 2014. Police say he stabbed and strangled Porter in his apartment. Waide said he put her body in a dumpster.
Porter’s body has not been found.
Waide and Porter attended the same high school in Fremont County.
The Adams County DA’s Office says Christopher Waide’s plea deal includes a 48 year sentence.
He will be formally sentenced on Nov. 2, 2015.
