Shots Fired at Monument House Party
Police are investigating after multiple shell casings were found outside a home in Monument. Officials say there was a house party Friday night in the 1300 block of Montcombe Drive.
They say 30 people were at the party. Officials say at least 10 of them were uninvited and tried to enter the home.
Police say the party attendees tried to push the uninvited party out. A 21-year-old was hit in the face with a shovel. They say when the uninvited attendees were pushed back outside, they started shooting into the home.
El Paso Sheriffs Deputies checked hospitals for any shooting injuries and found no one.
