El Paso Co. deputies looking for crime spree suspects

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects who went on a crime spree Monday night.

Deputies said they received a call from a victim near Monument around 10:55 p.m. Monday, saying someone broke into their vehicle. The suspects left in a dark colored vehicle.

Then at 11:10 p.m., deputies said the suspects broke into a garage in Black Forest, but nothing was stolen.

Twenty minutes later, deputies said the two broke into another vehicle in Black Forest and stole a gun. At the same time, deputies said a vehicle was found matching the suspects’ vehicle. Then at 11:30 p.m. the suspects stole an unlocked vehicle in Black Forest.

Around 12:03 a.m. Tuesday, deputies said they received a report of a vehicle that crashed into a fence in the Cimarron Hills neighborhood. The vehicle matched the description of the one stolen in Black Forest. The stolen gun was found near that vehicle.
