Shots fired during parking lot fight

Colorado Springs police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 2500 block of East Bijou Street.

Investigators say that a fight between two groups of people broke out in a parking lot around 1:50 Sunday morning. After the fight broke up, officers say that one of the people walking away turned around and opened fire.

Responding officers did not find anyone who had been hurt, and did not see any damage to the nearby buildings. Several shell casings were recovered from the road.

Investigators do not have any suspect information at this time.
