Missing Pueblo girl found, Amber Alert cancelled

An Amber Alert that was issued for a missing 7-year-old Pueblo girl has been cancelled.

Pueblo Police say the girl has been found and is safe.

No details about where she was found have been released.

The alert was issued after police said the girl was picked up from Carlisle Elementary School Friday afternoon by her grandmother, Joy Forsythe.

Forsythe is not allowed to have contact with her granddaughter.

Police said there was an incident with the family earlier this week that made them believe the girl was in danger.

Forsythe is being held in the Pueblo County jail, facing second degree kidnapping charges. No bond has been set for her yet.
