Pueblo police believe two drive-by shootings may be related
Pueblo police detectives believe two recent shooting deaths may be connected.
On Monday, Aug. 31 around 10:30 p.m., in the area of Ivywood and Moore, police
responded to a shooting where 39-year-old Carlos Montoya was shot at as he drove his silver BMW. Montoya was transported to a local hospital and is recovering.
It was reported that a red vehicle was involved.
On Wednesday, Sept. 2 around 4 p.m., officers responded to Court and 2nd Street
where Isaiah Vialpando, who was also driving a silver BMW, was shot and died from
his wounds.
A red vehicle was involved in this incident as well.
According to a news release, detectives believe the two incidents are related.
