Retired police officer opens indoor archery range in Pueblo
A retired southern Colorado police corporal’s opened one of the largest indoor archery ranges in the state.
Gene Ragulsky worked in law enforcement for 24 years for both Pueblo Police and the County Sheriff’s Office.
He retired so he could open a 20,000 square foot archery range near downtown Pueblo. It includes the latest in high-tech target shooting.
“We have an apparatus called Techno Hunt which is a high-definition video game,” Ragulsky said. “Your bow, your arrows, our tips. There’s over 750 scenarios all filmed in the wild. The smallest target is a ladybug. The largest is a giraffe.”
Humphries Archery is at the intersection of North Elizabeth and 2nd Street, northwest of the Pueblo Riverwalk.
