Lamborn’s office confirms Schriever selected for new space operations center

The office of 5th Congressional District Representative Doug Lamborn says Schriever Air Force Base has been selected to house a new Joint Interagency Combined Space Operations center.

It said the Air Force will release more information Thursday night or Friday.

According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, the center will enable the military and intelligence communities to collaborate on their missions involving satellites.
