Woman arrested after SUV crashes into thrift store

A woman was arrested after police say she drove her car into the Diggers Estate & Thrift store in Colorado Springs.

It happened just after 3 a.m. Monday at the corner of Fountain Boulevard and Circle Drive.

Police arrived at the scene to find a maroon-colored SUV inside the store. They say there was significant damage to the glass store front and items that were for sale.

Tanya Cooksey, 53, was treated for minor injuries at the scene. She was then arrested on suspicion of DUI and other traffic charges
