Police: Military gear, credit cards stolen from vehicle

The Colorado Springs Police Department says it is looking for information in an identity theft case.

The theft happened on August 21, 2015 at an apartment complex near the intersection of S. 8th Street and Cheyenne Blvd. on the southwest side of town.

Police say military gear and credit cards were stolen. They say the victim’s credit cards have since been used to make several purchases.

Police released surveillance images of the man who they say used the credit cards after they were stolen.
