Armed, suicidal man closes I-25 & Pueblo Blvd.

An armed and suicidal man caused a large tactical response to shut down Pueblo Boulevard just off the I-25 ramp Sunday afternoon.

Pueblo police said the suspect was alone inside a car, armed and threatening suicide after a domestic dispute.

After several hours, officers were able to get the man out of the vehicle.

They arrested him on charges of second-degree assault.

Pueblo Boulevard is back open.
