Denver police officer injured in crash

A Denver police officer has been injured in a four-vehicle crash during a traffic stop on northbound Interstate 25 on Friday.

Police say the officer was in the patrol car when another vehicle rammed into the back of his police car. The police car then hit the car in front of it, causing a chain-reaction accident.

The officer suffered broken bones during the crash. Two other people were injured.
