Highway 287 back open after multiple crashes

Highway 287 is back open after shutting down from multiple vehicle crashes, all because of a dust storm.

The highway was originally closed at mile post 69. Drivers said they couldn’t see 100 feet in front of them.

One person was taken to the hospital from one of those crashes.

Troopers and drivers were taking refuge inside of their vehicles at one point until the conditions cleared.
