Driver and passengers recovering after being hit by suspected drunk driver

A 68-year-old woman is recovering after being hit by a suspected drunk driver.

It happened around 11:00 p.m. Friday at the intersection of the Hancock Expressway and Jet Wing Drive.

The woman was ejected from her vehicle, after police say 20-year-old Marco Tarrazas ran a red light and hit her Jeep.

A passenger riding with the victim and a passenger with the suspect were also hurt.

The 68-year-old was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The passengers had minor injuries..

Tarrazas now faces DUI and vehicular assault charges.
