El Paso County executive on administrative leave
El Paso County says Executive Director of Support Services Imad Karaki was placed on paid administrative leave two weeks ago. The county didn’t say why.
Chief Public Information Officer Dave Rose says Karaki will remain on leave pending the outcome of a personnel review process and administrative hearing.
Karaki’s department, Support Services, includes Information Technology, Risk Management, Justice Services and Employee Benefits and Medical Services.
Imad Karaki has worked for El Paso County since February 1999. His annual salary is $140,910.
