Woman, girl injured in crash that closed Marksheffel Rd.
Authorities say two people were injured in a two vehicle accident that blocked Marksheffel road on the east end of Colorado Springs Tuesday evening.
The crash closed southbound Marksheffel at Stetson Hills Blvd. and northbound Marksheffel at N. Carefree Cir.
Pictures and video from the scene show a concrete mixer that appeared to have crashed into the rear of a sedan. No information about how the accident happened has been confirmed.
Investigators told KRDO NewsChannel 13 that a woman and girl were injured in the crash and that the girl may not have been properly restrained.
