Summer rains turn small sinkhole into big problem
A construction worker tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that a once small sinkhole has grown exponentially thanks to this summer’s wet weather.
The sinkhole is located where a sidewalk once was, near the intersection of Union Blvd. and Lexington Dr. next to Rampart High School.
KRDO spoke to a worker at the scene who said the hole started out small about three months ago, but that it has grown exponentially thanks to rain last week and yesterday.
We have calls in to the city to get more information.
