Semi spills load on northbound I-25 near downtown; northbound lanes now open
Traffic was diverted off of northbound I-25 at Cimarron Tuesday after a semi truck spilled its load of landscaping rock just north of the interchange.
The Colorado Springs Traffic Management Center said northbound traffic was diverted back onto the interstate at Bijou during the closure. It said that all lanes were back open as of 2:23 p.m.
The closure caused traffic to jam up on northbound I-25 from Cimarron St. to S. Circle Dr.
No injuries were reported.
