Police: Robbery suspect who wore pink coat, blonde wig found hiding in trash can

Pueblo police say an armed robbery suspect’s choice of hiding place was almost as unusual as the disguise he allegedly wore to commit the crime.

Police say Jeremiah Embry, 30, was found hiding in a trash can in the 1200 block of Cedar St. following a robbery at a Dollar General store in the 1200 block of Spruce St.

Employees told police that the robber wore a pink lady’s coat, a blonde wig and was armed with a gun. They said he stole cash and merchandise from the store.

Police say the stolen merchandise, a gun and a BB gun were recovered following Embrey’s arrest.
