Victim in deadly weekend stabbing identified

Colorado Springs Police have released the name of a man who was stabbed to death Saturday morning.

He was Sean Michael Crescentini, 30, of Colorado Springs. Crescentini’s death has been ruled a homicide.

Police arrested Fernando Rosales, 33, on second-degree murder charges.

The incident happened around 2:45 a.m. Saturday (8/15/15) in the 2500 block of Prescott Circle West, which is near S. Chelton Rd. and Astrozon Blvd. on the southeast side of the city.

An investigation showed Rosales was in a fight with the victim, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

This is the 13 th homicide in Colorado Springs in 2015, police said. At this time last year there had been 14 homicides in Colorado Springs.
