Broncos celebrate fans in southern Colorado

The Denver Broncos took over Pueblo Sunday.

The team wanted to have a tailgate party to celebrate the fans in southern Colorado.

Regina Dekoevend has cerebral palsy and is bedridden. She says she is the Broncos’ biggest fan and didn’t want to miss her favorite team.

“It’s amazing. I love the Broncos. I have loved the Broncos all my life,” she said.

The team invited her to a game back in September where she got to meet the players on the field.

Southern Colorado fans weren’t the only ones there. The Broncos also brought some of their biggest fans from Denver.

“We have a lot of die-hard Broncos fans in Pueblo. We need to come out and make sure they are in touch with us too,” Broncos fan Rich Lopes said.

As for Dekoeved and the rest of the fans at the event, they are expecting the Broncos to win the Super Bowl this season.

The Broncos kick off the season against the Baltimore Ravens Sept. 13.
