Pueblo police investigate city’s sixth homicide

Pueblo police are investigating the city’s sixth homicide of the year.

On Monday, August 10, police were called to the 1800 block of E. 13th Street. Officers found Sean Montoya, 32, outside with a stab wound to his chest.

Montoya was taken to a Pueblo hospital for treatment. Several hours later, he died.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and possible suspects, but no other information has been released.
