Police say suspect in shooting outside Pueblo school committed suicide
Pueblo Police say the search for a man who is accused of shooting another man outside Cesar Chavez Academy Tuesday morning is over.
They say Francisco Antonio Fresquez, 68, took his own life in the backyard of a relatives home in the 2500 block of Poplar St.

Classes were not in session at the time of the shooting.
Police have identified the victim as Robert Ramirez, 49. They say Ramirez was heading to work at the school when he was shot multiple times. He is expected to survive.
A motive has not been determined, but police say Fresquez once dated Ramirez’s mother.
