Wanted sex offender captured

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s 55th most wanted sex offender is behind bars.

CBI says Toby Mohr, 39, was arrested in Douglas County on Friday.

It says the joint operation included the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division.

Mohr had three No Bond Felony Warrants out of El Paso County.

The warrants were issued in 2012, and he has been avoiding capture since.

A tip led to the arrest of Mohr in Douglas County. When the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office attempted to arrest him, he barricaded himself in a trailer briefly.

Detectives from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office booked him in to the Criminal Justice Center on three charges of failure to register as a sex offender.
