Woman pleads for return of stolen purse made from dead fianc’s army uniform

A Colorado Springs woman who lost her fianc three months ago says someone stole a purse that was made out of his army uniform.

Shea Zupan says the purse was stolen from the back seat of her car, which was parked at the Bear Creek Dog Park. The theft happened Thursday night.

Zupan says the purse was made from pieces of her late fianc Sean’s uniform and included patches, his name, rank, flag patch and Iraq deployment patch.

She says it contained credit cards, Sean’s old military identification and his death certificate.

Zupan is asking whoever took the purse to turn it in to police.
