Video allegedly from inside Colorado Planned Parenthood facility released as group faces funding cut threat

A federal judge has blocked a medical organization from releasing any new video from inside meeting of abortion providers.

A San Francisco judge ruled saying the center for medical progress videos could put people being filmed in danger.

It’s related to a fourth video the Center for Medical Progress released from inside Planned Parenthood’s Denver facility.

The group recorded a doctor from Planned Parenthood, discussing the sale of fetal tissue.

At one point in the video, a doctor even shows body parts of an aborted fetus.

Medical Progress says Planned Parenthood profits from these sales for medical research.

The practice is technically legal, though one local congressman says that’s because of a loophole in the system.

“This is not something that taxpayers need to be funding,” said Rep. Doug Lamborn, of Colorado’s Fifth District.

He and other Republicans want to cut federal funding from Planned Parenthood,

“There are many other organizations for women and it’s important that those are properly funded,” he said. “They can be funded without Planned Parenthood being involved at all.”

Planned Parenthood released a statement saying the video was “another misleading and deceptively edited video of our medical services is being publicized by extremists who entered our facility based on misrepresentations and an elaborate, years-long fraudulent scheme.”

The Senate will vote next week whether to cut $500 million in federal funding to Planned Parenthood.
