Pueblo family looking for answers after woman’s death

james jarman. and i’m heather skold. first tonight, a fire investgation turns into a homicide case in pueblo. and now, the victim’s family is pleading for answers. firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 600 block of moffat avenue yesterday. the body of 77-year-old susan hernandez was inside. tonight, her family hopes someone will come forward with any information. krdo newschannel 13’s greg miller spoke with those family members tonight. james and heather … susan ;??? hernandez lived in this home most of her adult life – she raised all seven kids here. those kids tonight are trying to makse sense of her murder. so many questions… so much heartbreak 5:19 our mother didn’t deserve this, our mother was a good mother, a good grandmother. she loved all of her kids, her grandkids it was susan hernandez’s daughter, kristina, who found hernandez in this pueblo home. 4:10: the house was filled with smoke, i don’t want to say how i found her. god wanted me to find my mother, i don’t want to say how. god wanted me to find my mother. they called hernandez a force of nature, carrying pictures of her often. there wasn’t nothing my mother wouldn’t do for you. she was so loved by her children. 1:40 mother just loved life, she loved living here in the grove. she had no enemies, and they can’t think of why anyone would want to hurt her. 3:1? her. 3:17 we always thought this grove was a safe area, and now people around here are scared. scared?? and confused… waiting by the home for information, they’re trying to remember the good times. 5:51 my mom always supported us no matter what we did. she was always there, every time. as they try to make sense of a senseless crime. if you do have any information, call pueblo police at 553-2538 or pueblo crimestoppers at 542-stop. right now, pueblo police say they don’t have any leads. live in pueblo, gm, nc 13. a colorado springs
