Man convicted of murder in January shooting death
The 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office says a man has been convicted of 2nd degree murder in a deadly shooting that happened in January.
John Lorenz was found guilty in the shooting death of Paul Lattner in the 4300 block of Northridge Place, which is near Union Blvd. and Austin Bluffs Pkwy.
The shooting was reported at 10:48 p.m. on January 23, 2015.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reported that Lorenz was Lattner’s live-in landlord, and that the men were fighting prior to the shooting.
