Million dollar improvements are coming to PCC
Major improvements are coming to Pueblo Community College.
The college received more than $3 million from the state to upgrade the academic building.
The money will go toward improving the roof, bathrooms and technology.
Sen. Leroy Garcia, who is a professor at PCC, said he is excited for the upgrades.
“If you went in and looked, there are some areas that need some improvements. It’s nice to see the state is making Pueblo Community College a priority,” he said.
Construction is expected to start in August.
The college is trying to secure another $5 million to improve the amphitheater and science labs.
