ISIS graffiti found at Pueblo Riverwalk
Pueblo Police are investigating after someone spray painted the word “ISIS” on a wall at the Arkansas Riverwalk.
The graffiti was found on the east end of the Riverwalk near the Pueblo Transit building.
Police are investigating the graffiti. They say more of it was found in the bathrooms. Officers say the graffiti was put up sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning.
La Junta resident Rodolfo Vargas said he was disgusted by the graffiti.
“When there are people losing there lives over there fighting these guys and people over here in the U.S. are doing this kind of stuff, I think that’s wrong,” he said.
Police say the graffiti removal team will remove the tagging sometime this week.
