Arrest made in Rocky Ford death investigation
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says an arrest has been made in connection to a suspicious death investigation in Rocky Ford.
Edward Lawrence Aragon faces first degree murder charges in the death of Amanda M. Velasquez Ybarra. Her body was found at a home in the 600 block of S. 8th Street at around 6:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015.
Aragon is being held at the Bent County Jail on $1,000,000 bond.
CBI says Aragon and Ybarra were in a relationship, but were not married. It says Ybarra was staying in the home with Aragon at the time of her death.
