One Arrested in Deadly Accident
Colorado Springs Police arrested a man after a deadly accident involving a pedestrian. It happened early Saturday (July, 25 th ) morning on the 4600 Block of El Camino Dr. A male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, John Marvel, was arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter, DUI and other traffic offences.
CSPD says alcohol and speed were likely factors in the crash. Police have not released the name of the victim.
