UPDATE: Emergency bridge repairs force intermittent closures on S. Tejon Street

The City of Colorado Springs says drivers should expect periodic lanes closures on S. Tejon between downtown and I-25 through next week.

The intermittent closures are scheduled for between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The city says Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation needs to make emergency repairs on the railroad bridge that crosses Tejon south of downtown.

The closures will impact traffic in both directions between Fountain Blvd. and Mill St.
