Three men arrested following deadly shooting at Memorial Park
Colorado Springs Police have arrested three men in connection to a deadly shooting at Memorial Park.
The victim has been identified as 14-year-oldDesmond Smith. Smith died in the hospital from a gunshot wound early Saturday (07/18/15) morning.
The shooting happened near Pikes Peak Avenue and Farragut Avenue.
According to CSPD:
Raymond Rogan Jr. was arrested for Murder in the First Degree. Rogan Jr. is an 18 year old male from Colorado Springs.
Raymond Rogan Sr. was arrested for Accessory to First Degree Murder After the Fact and Tampering with Evidence. Rogan Sr. is a 35 year old male from Colorado Springs.
Riccardo Kirven was arrested for Murder in the First Degree. Kirven is a 31 year old male from Colorado Springs.
This investigation continues, however, no additional arrests are expected at this time.
This marks the 12 th Homicide for 2015. There were 12 Homicides at this time last year.
