Federal corrections officer accused of assaulting neighbors

A federal corrections officer was arrested in Colorado Springs after a dispute with neighbors.

Frederick Wells was arrested on Saturday (7/12/15) in connection to an assault that happened Friday night, in the 1200 block of Florence Avenue.

Wells is accused of hitting two neighbors with a metal object, causing serious bodily injury. He was arrested on charges of 1st Degree Assault.

Police say Wells is a corrections officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Florence.
