Firefighters: ‘Smoke’ at Red Rock Canyon was likely dust from construction
The Colorado Springs Fire Department says it believes “smoke” that was reported in the area of Red Rock Canyon Wednesday was actually dust kicked up by construction workers.
The Red Rock Canyon Open Space is located on the west end of Colorado Springs, near US 24 and Ridge Road.
The open space is closed because of damage from flooding earlier this year.
