Pueblo firefighters rescue pregnant pup from burning home

Firefighters saved several dogs from a burning home in Pueblo Thursday morning.

The fire was reported in the 2800 block of E. 13th Street at around 6:30 a.m.

No people were home, but the fire department says several dogs were inside and that all of them were rescued.

Firefighters say the dog pictured at the top of this article is pregnant.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
