Deputies Help Jaywalking Deer Cross the Road

From the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office:

Some of our Mountain Precinct deputies were patrolling the Genesee area early one morning this week when they came across a family of jaywalkers.

Instead of writing them a ticket, however, they happily stopped to help the family safely cross the road.

It was pretty clear the mother was teaching her brand new babies how to navigate the world. The smallest fawn was about the size of a Chihuahua, one of the deputies said.
