Wildlife Officials Brought in to Return a Wild Moose to the Mountains

Colorado State Patrol in Larimer County called in the Department of Wildlife to return a wild moose to the mountains on Sunday (06/14/15).

The moose was spotted near I-25 and Highway 34 this morning. The animal did not cross I-25.

State Patrol tweeted out pictures of the encounter.

Wildlife officials tranquilized the moose and say they are relocating it back to the mountains.

State Patrol tweeted that it was a “Very Amoosing morning!”
