A man is dead after rollover crash in El Paso County

The Colorado State Patrol is currently investigating a single-vehicle crash that happened Saturday on Indian Village Heights Road, south of Fountain.

Troopers say a 1986 Subaru was traveling eastbound on Indian Village Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The Subaru traveled off the left (north) side of the road and down a ravine while rolling 1 times and partially ejecting the driver.

The driver was 52 year-old William McMurrey from Pueblo Colorado. McMurrey was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased on scene. Neither alcohol nor drugs is considered a factor in the crash.
