Colorado Strong: A look back at the Black Forest Fire

Two years ago, the Black Forest community rose above the ashes.

On June 11, 2013, what would become the state’s most destructive wildfire sparked in Black Forest, killing two people and destroying nearly 500 homes.

Investigators say they don’t know exactly what caused the fire, but say it was human-caused.
