Spinning storm spawns tornado fears in northeastern El Paso County

A tornado warning that was issued for northeastern El Paso County Wednesday afternoon has expired.

No touchdowns or damage were reported.

Thunderstorms also moved through Colorado Springs and Pueblo Wednesday.

In Pueblo, heavy rain flooded some intersections and in Colorado Springs a lightning strike sparked a house fire near E. Platte Ave. and N. Academy Blvd.

A flash flood watch has been issued for all of eastern Colorado beginning at noon Thursday as more heavy rain is expected.
