Food trucks roll onto Union Avenue in Pueblo
Food trucks rolled onto Union Avenue Thursday to kick off the second annual “City Center Eats.”
The Pueblo City Center Partnership will feature several food trucks and entertainers in downtown Pueblo this summer at El Pueblo History Museum, 301 N. Union Avenue.
“Last year was very successful and brought something new and exciting to Pueblo, we are hoping to have an even bigger year in 2015,” said Lee Gladney, PCCP chair.
The vendors participating in this year’s event are Mauro’s Kitchen, Mr. Philly, Passkey, Rockee’s, Slug N Chug, Sweet Peas Mobile Boutique and Yumtumlicious.
“I just love supporting local events. It brings the community together. It increases our quality of life, and it’s so nice to be out on this beautiful day enjoying the weather and some great food,” said Janet Fieldman, who was grabbing a bite Thursday afternoon.
“I really enjoy it,” said Jennifer Derdoski. “I’m glad that there’s a place to come and eat and see different foods from around the area.”
The trucks will be parked in front of the museum every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. until August 13.
