Autopsy reports say a cadet found dead at the Air Force Academy, and his mother who was later found dead in the Stratton Open Space, both committed suicide.

Alexandre Quiros, 21, was found injured in his dorm room on April 2, 2015. He was pronounced dead at 3:43 p.m.

An autopsy report says Alexandre stabbed himself multiple times in the head, neck, chest and abdomen. It says Oxycodone was found in his system.

Alexandre’s mother, Ksenia Quiros, 45, was found dead at the Stratton Open Space on April 18 after being reported missing on April 15.

An autopsy report says Ksenia died from a combination of an overdose on a drug called Diphenhydramine and hypothermia.

Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that is used to treat cold and allergy symptoms, motion sickness and Parkinson’s Disease. It is the only drug that was found in her system.
