It wants to keep caving in on itself. crews need to use about 50-thousand tons of dirt for this project. They’re getting it all from the waldo canyon burn scar, collecting some of the sediment that’s washed up here over the past few weeks. we’re going to take the material out of the debris basin, get it cleaned out, bring it down here. So it helps both projects at the same time. homeowners say the repair project is much-needed, and they hope it makes a difference. it’s a big challenge for the city to handle this.
