District 11 offering free summer meals for children
The largest school district in Colorado Springs is offering free lunch and breakfast for kids ages one through 18 this summer.
School District 11 says the meals will only be served on weekdays and will not be provided on holidays.
The USDA’s Summer Service Food Program is paying for the meals.
The breakfasts and lunches will be offered at the following 34 locations:
Audubon Elementary School, 1921 E. Van Buren St., June 8 – June 26 , 7:40-8:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-noon
Bristol Elementary School, 890 N. Walnut St., June 8 – June 26 , 7:40-8:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-noon
