Increase In Flooded Basements

Basements all over Colorado Springs are filling up with water after recent rain.

Extreme Clean Restoration Crews said it’s seen flooding in areas they normally wouldn’t.

The company said some of the worst impacted areas have been in Briargate and Rockrimmon.

The heavy rains have caused the soil to become saturated. The water in the soil then can leach through cracks in the walls.
