Territory Days ends with big crowds

There was some rain around Southern Colorado, but it didn’t keep people away from making their way to Old Colorado City for Territory Days.

Those we talked to were glad that the rain held off until the very end of the day.

They were enjoying crafts and other things that make this festival unique.

But some of the thousands in attendance like some of the old staples that make all festivals unique – the food.

Beth Omenhiser has her favorites. “Probably the funnel cakes, and the turkey legs and the lemonade.”

This is the 40th anniversary of Territory Days. It ended at 6 p.m. tonight.
